OWC Worship

Question 1 : When do you gather on the weekend?

Lots of churches call their time together a worship service, but we prefer to call it a worship gathering; after all, the church is gathering to worship God.

Think about it — much of our service to God is actually accomplished while we’re at home, at work, at school, or just plain out and about in our world. But hey, you just wanted to know when we gather, right? That happens on Sunday mornings at 10:30am.

Question 2 : What’s a worship gathering like?

You’ll find a relaxed, friendly atmosphere with modern worship music and a practical, relevant message. You’ll also find a bulletin with information designed to help make the most of your time at OWC.

Children are well-cared for in a loving, quality nursery and fun-filled KidZone children’s gathering. And as an FYI, the gathering typically wraps up between 11:45am – 12:00pm.

Question 3 : What will happen when I visit for the first time?

If you’re visiting for the first time, we promise not to embarrass you, have you stand up, or pressure you to give money.

OWC is casual and informal, and we know most people want to check out a church without being put on the spot — that’s fine with us! Come enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and see if OWC is for you.

Question 4 : What about my kids?

Your children are a high priority! Our nursery is clean, safe, and staffed with loving workers. We offer an excellent children’s ministry called KidZone, and the kids have a gathering space designed just for them while the adults gather in the main auditorium.

Also, as much as we think your kids will enjoy KidZone, if they’d rather stay with you while you check out the adult gathering, that’s cool, too!
